I know, I know. It's not Thanksgiving yet so let's slow the roll on all things Christmas. If I promise not to share pictures of the Christmas trees we already have up will you chat with me about the presents?!?!
I'm a gifter so I LOVE putting special treats in hands, especially when I'm able to shop local for unique vintage finds. Anyone can pull up Amazon for an order (highly recommend that for quick wrapping paper options!) but let's face it, our local shops need us more than ever this year. If you haven't already be sure to check in with your favorite farmers market and small businesses this season. I've been doing that very thing and I've found a few new favorite spots! Check them out!
MADE by Danielle
I've picked up several MADE by Danielle jewelry pieces over the years. When you shop with Danielle you're going to find the most beautiful colors and new favorite styles of jewelry and canvas wall art. You might just find that perfect piece of furniture for yourself as well! When I asked Danielle to describe her ideal shopper I received the best reply. It's that someone who doesn't really fit into a box and is typically pretty proud of that fact!
You can connect with Danielle locally in Vintage Warehouse or find her online at danielleskaminski.com and on Facebook and Instagram @danielleskaminski When you do be sure to ask which show she's currently binge watching with her hubs and dog Lula.
Sweets by Julie Greenville
All of my celiac and gluten intolerance friends rejoice! I've found a sweet spot for you. It's Sweets by Julie Greenville and right now you can pick up a tasty specialty treat for yourself AND a neat hot cocoa bomb gift set for the teachers, secret santas, and coworkers on your gift list. I love the detail on these locally crafted mugs just as much as I do Julie's favorite dessert pick, her molten lava cake!
Connect with Julie for your gluten free baked goods and Cocoa Bomb Gift Sets. You can find her on Facebook and Instragram @sweetsbyjuliegreenville or reach her by phone and email. sweetsbyjuliegreenville@gmail.com 864.724.9260
Susan Patrick Jett
I have my order in and cannot wait to hang our new family ornament on our memory tree this year. Susan offers 4 inch and 6 inch personalized embroideries that are the perfect gift for teachers, littles with fun hobbies, and growing families like mine. Customize your hair, skin, and clothing colors and styles.
While you're shopping, ask her about options for your elf. My daughter happened to tell me last week that the elves require new clothes each year. I'm wondering if she and Susan had a chat without me! Susan also offers customized elf clothes!

Ballew Woodworks
When you're looking for unique wooden gifts including cutting boards, charcuterie boards, butcher blocks, pepper mills and wooden utensils look no further. Ballew Woodworks has it! They also specialize in farmhouse furniture and enjoy working with families to plan and to craft one of a kind pieces.
The Ballews make woodworking a family affair teaching their children the trade! When they aren't crafting you might find them out by a campfire with their children this time of year.
Connect with Ballew Woodworks online at www.ballewwood.com and on Instagram @ballewwoodworks11 You can also catch them at the Downtown Greenville Saturday Market each Saturday from now until mid-December.
Maggie Visk
I do believe I have found the most perfect gift for mothers. Ladies, pass this idea along to your significant others! Maggie creates silhouetted images, mostly of children and pets, out of paper.
Most recently Maggie has crafted full body silhouettes, which gives a feeling of movement and a sense of joy. Classic silhouettes are also available, in color or in black and white. There simply is no better way to preserve the memory of childhood or the life of your pet! Maggie also does alcohol Ink Fire painting which is quite unique!
When she isn't creating Maggie enjoys horseback riding and outdoor time with her family. You can connect with Maggie on Instagram @maggievisksilhouettes or via email maggievisk@gmail.com
Mitzi Morris
Her work is absolutely beautiful! Mitzi loves to sew. Her magic hands create many things, though her favorite creations are her one of a kind baskets and cooking aprons that remind her of days gone by.
I love the simplicity of these white pieces.
On the shelf, holding important things on a dresser, garnished with Christmas gifts for your girlfriends on your shopping list. Anyone with an appreciation of handmade products will instantly fall in love with these unique pieces.
When Mitzi isn't in her element she enjoys a good antique store stroll. Connect with Mitzi on Facebook and on Instagram @mitzimorris
Market on Main
The Christmas elves at Market on Main have been busy this year! Their most recent endeavor was an expansion to include a beautiful vintage holiday collection.
Stop in to pick up a personalized plush or swaddle blanket for littles, a unique gift or two, or a special item for your own home this year.
Also mark your calendars for a sweet "Cookies with Santa" event coming on on December 4. Head over to their Facebook page to register.
Drop in for a visit downtown or connect with Market on Main on Facebook and Instagram @marketonmainspartanburg
Did you spot a few dozen new favorites like I did? I'd love to know. Which small business items are topping your shopping list this Christmas?
Happy shopping my friends,
Shannon
